Looking for an amazing experience in the Peak District?
If you are looking to get away, reconnect with the countryside and stay in the Peak District. Six Litton Mill is an amazing, luxury three bedroom, three bathroom self-catering apartment located in a historic water mill, right in the heart of the Peak District.
Litton Mill is situated on the bank of the River Wye next to the Monsal Trail, great for walking & cycling. The apartment’s elevated position over the river provides a dramatic view of the old ironmongery and water as it rushes towards, around and under the Mill. The gentle, relaxing sound of the river enhances your stay!
It is close to many well-known villages including Tideswell with its Cathedral, Bakewell with the famous pudding, and the Spa town of Buxton is only a 15 minute drive. The nearby village of Litton has everything you may need. The local pub at Millers Dale, The Anglers Rest, serves fine ales & great English pub grub.
Based in the centre of this relaxing and engaging community, our luxury Peak District apartment at Litton Mill is kitted out with every comfort and you need to make it a home away from home during your stay in the Peak District. The mill itself was founded as far back as 1782 by a pair of prominent local entrepreneurs, Ellis Needham and Thomas Firth, and is steeped with the industrial history that is typical of the time. Despite being nearly destroyed by fire in 1874, the building was renovated and enlarged to its present state and was converted in 2003 to luxury apartments.
Six Litton Mill is one of the premier holiday locations in the Peak District. With stunning and dynamic views, a large open plan living/dining/kitchen area, and three bedrooms each with en-suites, Six Litton Mill is the perfect base from which to explore the many treasures of the Peak District.
