Bakewell

Bakewell is a market town at the end of the Monsal Trail. You can walk (2 hours) or ride there via the Monsal Trail from Six Litton Mill – or you can drive in around 20 minutes.

It is a very popular tourist town, and also has a lot of significance and authenticity both historically and in literature (Jane Austin). It is also famous for its Bakewell Pudding and Bakewell Tart.
