The Red Lion Inn is located in Church Lane, Litton (SK17 8QU).
Nestled on the green in this picturesque village, The Red Lion is one of a very few unspoilt traditional Peak District pubs. This historic inn combines character and quality in a way that is rare in modern pubs.
The Red Lion first became a pub in 1787 when it was converted from three miner’s cottages. Thick exposed stone walls & wood paneling in a number of small, cozy rooms with blazing fires, create a comfortable & inviting atmosphere.
The Red Lion is a very busy traditional pub and although well-loved by walkers and tourists, it is a real village pub, and its also dog-friendly.
