You can access the Monsal Head Hotel from the Monsal Trail. Take the pathway off that goes off to the left just prior to the Headstone Tunnel.
Monsal Head has stunning views of the Mondal Dale and Headstone Viaduct.
You can have a good pub meal at Stables Bar (at Monsal Head Hotel) or at Hobbs Cafe next door. There is also an icecream vendor operating outside most days.
