Amazing Apartment,fantastic holiday

We arrived at the property and were all amazed at the size of the place. It definitely is a 'WOW' property and location. The apartment was spotless. The views were wonderful. The general location is brilliant to explore, both on foot and by car. We had a fantastic holiday and made great memories.

Superb Apartment

First class apartment set in stunning surroundings.
Fixtures and fittings are all high quality. Very spacious and added bonus of the three bedrooms being en suite. River views are spectacular from the lounge.

Beautiful space, in the stunning Peak District

To begin with the apartment, is a luxurious, spacious, modern space, that worked perfectly for us! The rooms are spotless, yet still come across as welcoming and homely with timeless features. The fact that it is in a re-done factory adds to the uniqueness of this beautiful apartment, with spacious rooms, huge windows (looking out onto a rushing stream and a great rock face) and amazing black pillars. The massive family room (kitchen/living room) worked superbly as a space for the whole family to spend time together. Furthermore, the surrounding area is stunning, with rolling hills and a significant number of streams and rivers. Would definitely recommend!

This was our second visit to this fantastic apartment and we hope to make it a regular yearly visit with our three adult children. Great for us was the spacious living area from which there is a great view of the lovely rushing river and the easy access to surrounding countryside - no need to use the car! We walked into Bakewell along the Monsal trail one day. Then walked to the village of Litton another. Would highly recommend it for comfort and location.

Fabulous apartment in lovely remote location.

Thoroughly enjoyed property with stunning views. Party of 4 with 2 year old grandson. Good location to visit local area, weather very kind for late October early November. Fabulous lounge and kitchen area and glad we had main bedroom as one room very small but not an issue for us based on our group. Hope to return. Thanks Tricia and Gary

Style and Comfort

For a party of four walkers this was a perfect location. The apartment is spacious and stylishly appointed. It is well equipped to make for a comfortable stay.
Communication before our stay was excellent and provided all the information we needed.

Number 6 Litton Mill

There were two couples and a single adult in our party so this wonderful apartment was ideal for us and we loved all the space. The kitchen was well equipped and once we had opened up the table we pushed it along towards the window leaving five places and left it there all week. The bedrooms were big and airy, especially the master bedroom, and the smallest was fine for a single adult though could do with some more hooks for hanging clothes as there was no room for a wardrobe. The whole building was very peaceful and the views of the river added to our enjoyment. We liked Tideswell, the nearest large village , where we were able to buy anything we needed and were pleased to revisit Calver where we used to enjoy caravan holidays and also Bakewell which we are very fond of. Altogether a great holiday in a fantastic apartment.

Lovely apartment in a great location

We were a party of three mature couples and we had a very good time at Litton Mill, despite two or three very wet days which were not forecast before we left home. We liked the apartment which is well equipped and provided everything we needed. Having a dishwasher is great when self-catering for 6 adults. The location was great for our trip to the Chatsworth flower show as we got there and back without any traffic issues which according to the news was not the case for many.

The central living space is great with plenty of space to spread out and beautiful views of the river and hills. The only disappointment was the huge variety in the bedrooms with one being an enormous double with a huge ensuite, the second twin room was fine and both these bedrooms had great views. The third bedroom is very small with no outside window and with a double bed in it there was no room for a wardrobe. Having a separate ensuite was useful even though it was tiny.

The location of the Litton Mill is great, just below the Monsal trail, which offers great walks. The Anglers Rest pub is about a 20-minute walk and serves good homemade food, including vegetarian options and some excellent beer. It is also very good value for money.

We have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and would stay here again (although only as a foursome with adult friends). If we bring the family this would be a great option.

This is our 4th return visit to 6 Litton Mill and the quality of the spacious and well appointed accommodation never disappoints. The mill is set in a wonderful location and we managed to do 3 different circular dale walks direct from the mill. I am sure we will return once again for another wonderful break.
