This walk starts and finishes at Litton Mill and it takes some stunning scenery along the River Wye, Cressbrook Mill, Cressbrook Dale and Tansley Dale, the villages of Litton and Tideswell, and returns to Litton Mill via Tideswell Dale and below Ravenstor.
It should take around 4 hours – but can be modified to be lengthened or shortened. Some areas can be muddy but there are generally well-defined tracks and signs. There are some alternate routes to avoid flowing and mud.
